William J. Gradishar, MD
Dr. Gradishar is a breast medical oncologist and the Betsy Bramsen Professor of Breast Oncology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. His research focuses on developing new treatments for breast cancer.
He chairs the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Breast Cancer Panel, which develops evidence-based guidelines used by clinicians to guide breast cancer care.
As the host of Yerbba’s YouTube channel, he helps make complex breast cancer topics easier to understand, so you can bring more informed questions to your care team.

More about Dr. Gradishar
Dr. Gradishar is also a member of the NCCN Breast Cancer Risk Reduction Panel and serves as Deputy Director of the Clinical Network at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center. He previously served as Chief of Northwestern’s Division of Hematology and Oncology.
He is a Fellow of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the American College of Physicians. His professional leadership includes past chair roles on ASCO’s Oncology Training Program, Communications, and Professional Development committees.
