UX-Designer

Job Brief

Join our team as we work to help people become experts in their own health care through the development of innovative technology. The successful candidate will be our main designer responsible for all of Yerbba’s client-facing content, from the website to the application, Youtube channel, and more. You will implement your designs using a content management console (i.e. WordPress andWebFlow) and through writing code (namely React).

This position will combine in-person at our Ann Arbor-based office 2 - 3 days every week for team collaborations along with a flexible remote work schedule as a full time employee.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that Yerbba’s UI/UX is clear and attractive across its website and application

• Coordinate with software engineer for front-end development

• Manage Yerbba’s various CMS

• Apply user-centered design principles to all of Yerbba’s content

Skill Requirements:

• User-centered design – including contextual inquiry, usability testing, and more

• Wireframing and prototyping

• Front-end development – HTML, CSS, and REACT

• CMS – e.g. WordPress, Wix, Webflow, etc.

Additional Skills of Value:

• MeteorJS

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

‍Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction and/or related work experience

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary between $60,000 to $100,000, depending on the level of experience
